All Saints' Academy alumnus Nick Davis is paving his way to success within the television industry.

Nick graduated All Saints’ Academy Sixth Form in 2016 and is now in his 3rd year studying Television Production at the University of Gloucestershire. Whilst at All Saints’ Academy Nick studied Media, Music, IT and Hospitality and Catering and also took part in many extra-curricular filming projects, commissioned by Gloucester Diocese, Pink Elephant PR and for the Academy.

His latest project involves producing a music video for BBC Radio Gloucestershire for their 30th Anniversary. His job along with his team is to organise, film, edit and deliver a broadcast quality video to be used on BBC Points West in late October. The video will also feature at an official BBC Radio Gloucestershire event which will set out the future plans for the radio station.

The video will be light hearted and feature an array of people, locations and groups iconic to the Gloucestershire area. The people have all been given a few lines from the song 'He ain't heavy, he's my brother' (originally by The Hollies) and they must now sing these lines in a variety of locations across Gloucestershire. The song was chosen because it was one of the first in the charts back when BBC Radio Gloucestershire first started broadcasting.

Nick has enjoyed meeting and filming many famous faces in the last week or two, including Eddie the Eagle (please see photo above).
