Cheltenham Town first year scholar Felix Miles has been named the LFE (League Football Education) League Two Apprentice of the 2021 Season.
As part of an ongoing partnership, Felix is studying the Extended BTEC Diploma in Sport at All Saints’ Academy.
Since starting his Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship in football, Felix has excelled in all areas. He has effectively and successfully represented Cheltenham Town Football Club on and off the field of play at the highest level. Felix enjoys the process of learning and this is evident in his daily training routines and conversations with the multi-disciplinary staff team. The progress Felix has made in a short space of time has been very impressive. Not only has he developed his knowledge in different units of work, he has the ability to put this into practise on the football field, and in turn we have seen some fantastic performances for the Academy.
It has been a challenge for us all, adjusting to online learning, but Felix has taken this in his stride and produced some outstanding work, achieving a distinction in all of his assignments so far. Felix has a massive impact on his teammates learning, they look up to him and his calming nature, and admire his work ethic and the progress he makes within his own education. Felix is always arrives on time to the Academy, which shows another example of his eagerness to learn and develop.
Felix is a very polite and driven individual who will be successful in any career he chooses to follow. His desire to gain top grades is testament to his character and will open many doors for the future.
