Last night saw the launch of ASA Africa 2017.
The Cotswold Hall was packed with pupils and parents keen to get involved with our next trip to Kasulu, Tanzania. It was a lively evening where the prospective team got to meet the staff involved in the trip, including Rev Helen Sammon who will be our link to the Dioceses in Ta.
There was also input from Mick Guilbert and Leo Kelly who were part of the Africa 2014.
The evening ended with refreshments and many excited pupils already suggesting fundraising activities!
The students will now complete the difficult task of selling themselves on an application form, before the staff involved have the almost impossible job of creating a short list.
2017 may sound like a long time in the future – but it’s all getting very exciting!
