All Saints’ Academy attend DataFace launch at the Cheltenham Science Festival

Posted: 6th June 2023

Mr Samrai and Mr Sheppee attended the official DataFace launch at Cheltenham Science Festival on Monday 5th June. The launch titled ‘Equipping Gen Z for the jobs of tomorrow’ was a follow up to the pilot launch 18 months ago, whereby, our contributions and support in making this a success were rewarded. Additional schools, partners and delegates were invited again to support the event. DataFace is a leading, innovative project, which allows young people to think about how data is presented and think beyond the norm of charts, graphs and paper based visualisation of data. With support from The Jean Goulding Institute, Cyber First, AWS, Cheltenham Festival and .Gov, this project has moved from strength to strength and All Saints’ Academy have had heavy involvement in the pilot.

Now this has been a local success, we have already branched out to 25 new schools within the area and by 2025, our goal is to reach schools nationwide.
