At the very heart of All Saints’ Academy is our ethos and our vision to help all individuals “have life in all its fullness”. We firmly believe that we are a family striving for success in every way and that starts with our newest cohorts – Year 6.
On the 7th and 8th July, we welcomed a fantastic group of students from several primary schools who will become our newest Year 7 cohort beginning in September. This was not only an opportunity for us to meet these students and put names to faces, but also a great chance for these students to experience life in the Academy.
As you can imagine, there were faces full of anticipation, some were anxious, others showed a helpless sense of overwhelming fear even! But within minutes of them entering our Cotswold Hall, these were replaced with smiles and eagerness to see what the days had in store and it was an absolute pleasure to see them all start to meet their new peers and become acquainted with their surroundings.
It was a fun filled two days and the students grasped every opportunity that was given to them. They experienced engaging sessions with our Science team, showed off their creative sides in Art as well as many other enriching sessions which included; Maths, English, Drama, Modern Foreign Languages, PE, Business Studies, Geography, History and Computer Science.
The attitude shown by all students that attended was exceptional and it was a joy to spend time with them around the building and whilst they enjoyed some recreational play during break and lunchtime. This sentiment was echoed by all staff at the Academy and we could not be more excited to see them again in September.
We are very much looking forward to extending our Christian ethos to you all and welcoming you into the Academy.
