Once again, students at All Saints’ Academy have achieved the best ever results at GCSE and A level. The Academy’s continued improvement in GCSE and A level has been built on a strong history of success, which has inspired All Saints’ students to face the challenges of this year with real courage and determination achieving excellent GCSE and A level results through the toughest of times.
Mr Dermot McNiffe, Principal, said “This results week has been an absolute joy. We always knew that our Year 11 and Year 13 students would achieve great results this year.
Our Year 13 students previously did brilliantly when they sat their GCSEs in 2019, so we had every confidence in them achieving well again.
Our Year 11 cohort had always shown excellence in their attitudes towards their studies since Key Stage 3. It has been so inspiring for me to witness the fantastic character and commitment of our students in both year groups. They all made sure that they put in the extra study they needed, whether that was during the evening, weekend or holiday sessions we provided to help them prepare.
We are just so proud of their examination success and the resilience they have displayed during a year like no other in a period that will be remembered as one of the toughest times for young people in education.
It is because of this, that I have every confidence in our students, and indeed the young people of this generation, to have the character and academic ability to go on to do even greater things during the next stages of their education, training and employment.”
