For the fourth consecutive year, All Saints’ Academy students have achieved the best results at GCSE level continuing the significant year on year improvement that has placed the Academy as one of the top performing state schools in the town.
This GCSE success builds on the successful results of 2017, 2018 and 2019 when the Academy was ranked second amongst all non-selective schools for student progress at GCSE in Cheltenham.
Mr Dermot McNiffe, Principal, said “As we anticipated with this brilliant year group, I am delighted to see that they have continued our trend of improving GCSE results since 2016. Over 70% of our students got their combined English and Maths GCSEs and well over 70% achieved 4 plus grades in the Sciences.”
“Following the anxiety caused over the maladministration of A Level results, I am delighted to see that common sense has prevailed to reflect the professional assessments of my teaching staff and leaders and indeed the profession as a whole across the country.”
