Year 11 Prom

Year 11 students enjoyed a truly unforgettable evening at Manor by the Lake on Tuesday 23rd June, as they gathered to celebrate the end of an important chapter in their journey at All Saints' Academy.

The celebrations began with students making incredible arrivals. From sports cars to an ice cream van, and even a wheelbarrow! The creativity on display was remarkable. It was wonderful to see so many families gathered to cheer on and greet students as they made their amazing entrances, creating a fantastic atmosphere from the very start of the evening.

Despite temperatures soaring above 34°C, spirits remained high as students enjoyed a wonderful celebration of everything they have achieved during their time at ASA so far. Guests were treated to a beautiful dinner before taking a trip down memory lane, reflecting on memories and milestones from the past five years at All Saints'.

A highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, hosted by Mr Smyllie. The ceremony featured awards voted for by the students themselves, alongside the Progress Leader Awards, recognising the achievements, contributions and successes of members of the Year 11 cohort.

Excitement continued to build for the premiere of the much-anticipated Year 11 Celebration Video. This year's edition featured some very familiar faces dressed as the Spice Girls, bringing plenty of laughter and showcasing the fun and spirit that make Academy life so special.

The evening concluded with a packed dancefloor, where students danced the night away despite the summer heat. Armed with glow tubes and endless energy, they made the most of every moment in the beautiful and elegant surroundings of Manor by the Lake.

A huge thank you goes to the Prom Committee for their hard work and support in planning such a successful event.

We are incredibly proud of everything our Year 11 students have achieved and look forward to welcoming many of them back in September as they begin the next stage of their journey in Sixth Form. Until then, we wish them a well-deserved summer filled with rest and fun.

My child’s motivation to go to school has increased dramatically since moving to All Saints’ Academy from primary school. I am so glad she is actively taking part in lessons and she is building confidence every day.
