All Saints’ Academy celebrates another year of record breaking A Level results which includes a significant improvement in higher level passes at A*- A, A* -B and A*-C, which have all improved by 5% or more this year.
Principal Dermot McNiffe said,
“Again, our students have had some fantastic results this year and I am delighted to see that more of our students are gaining the top grades at A Level. It shows how determined our students are to achieve the highest grade and not just settle for a pass. Our Applied qualifications also saw a 15% improvement in the number of students gaining Distinction* and Distinction passes. The overall average attainment per entry has continued to improve this year too! This is really pleasing, considering all the turbulence our students have had to navigate due to the government’s major changes to A Level and Level 3 courses in recent years.
“I am delighted that our Sixth Form students have achieved yet another set of good A Level results; their success is testament to their hard work, and the dedication of our teaching and support staff at All Saints’ Academy. We are so proud that All Saints’ Academy Sixth Form continues to succeed and our students set new record breaking results each year. We wish them well as they prepare for university and future careers.”
