Sixth Form Shine at Sustainable Fashion Show

We are incredibly proud of our talented Sixth Form students who recently took centre stage at the Cheltenham Education Partnership’s inaugural Sustainable Wearable Art Fashion Show, held at the Wilson Gallery & Museum.

Since October, students have been working closely with acclaimed film and stage costume designer Katie Taylor to bring to life the powerful theme of ‘Man vs Nature’. Their final creation was nothing short of extraordinary.

Using only recycled materials — from sponge cogs and bed sheets to scrap mesh and clay makeup — our students transformed discarded items into a bold, brave, and beautiful work of conceptual art. Their design would not have looked out of place on the Met Gala red carpet!

Congratulations to Michael, Grace, Adriana, and our stunning model Wiktoria for their creative vision and dedication. A heartfelt thank you to Miss Morgan for her unwavering support and leadership throughout the project.

This project is a shining example of aspirational excellence, creativity, and the transformative power of collaboration. Well done, team!

Chaplaincy

This term, our Academy value is Service, rooted in the words of Jesus in Mark 9:35:
“Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
As we look at our sixth Academy Value, we continue to reflect on how this shapes our lives as part of the All Saints Way, encouraging one another to put others’ needs first.
This week, we were blessed to welcome guests from St Mark’s and St Barnabas who joined our parents’ prayer gathering. Together, we lifted our school community in prayer, marking the close of Thy Kingdom Come – a global call to prayer. It was a powerful moment of unity, hope, and spiritual encouragement.
We’re also excited to launch a new initiative: ASA Storytellers. This is a chaplaincy-led project that sees our young people sharing the Bible with local primary schools through dramatic retellings of key stories. It’s a creative way for our students to live out our Academy values by serving others, using their voices and gifts to inspire the next generation.
As always, thank you for your continued support and prayers.

Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Success

Over the course of three challenging but rewarding days, 35 students from Year 9 and Year 10 took part in a recent Duke of Edinburgh expedition in the beautiful Winchcombe and surrounding Cotswold countryside.

Year 9 students tackled their Bronze Award, while Year 10 stepped up to complete their Silver expedition, navigating more demanding routes and covering longer distances. Both groups explored parts of the Winchcombe Way and Cotswold Way, gaining valuable skills in navigation, teamwork, resilience, and outdoor living.

Across the hills, fields, and trails, students pitched tents, cooked hot meals, read maps, and worked together with determination and care. Throughout the expedition, they consistently demonstrated our Academy values of Respect, Love, Reconciliation, Justice, and Peace — encouraging each other, making thoughtful decisions, and embracing the spirit of the award.

A huge well done to all involved for their effort, positivity, and growth over the three days—true ambassadors for our school community.

Students Dig Into Sustainability With New Kitchen Garden Project

This year, our school community has embraced sustainability with a hands-on initiative: building a kitchen garden on campus. The goal? To grow fresh produce for local food banks and support our school kitchen with any surplus.

Students have already begun clearing garden beds in preparation for autumn crops, combining environmental responsibility with community service. Stay tuned as the garden grows—and so does our impact!
