Our Duke of Edinburgh students embarked on their bronze expeditions this term and passed with flying colours! The students set off on day 1 and navigated a challenging route through the Cotswolds before pitching up for the night at Hayle’s Fruit Farm in Winchcombe. After cooking dinner, that wouldn’t have looked out of place on Gordan Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares, they toasted marshmallows and reflected on a hard day’s work.
Day 2 saw the groups have breakfast, pack up their tents and set off on another challenging route through the Cotswolds that led them to places such as Hayle’s Abbey and Sudley Castle.
A big well done from the whole Duke of Edinburgh team on completing your expedition and overcoming all the challenges that you faced!
