Posted: 15th December 2017

On Thursday 15th December the All Saints' Academy choir and readers performed at St Mary's, Cheltenham Minster in Cheltenham for the annual Carol Service.

Students performed to a church full of parents, carers, staff, students and members of the community.

The choir led congregational hymns of Once in Royal David's City, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Holly and the Ivy, In the Bleak Mid-winter, Jingle Bells and O Come All Ye Faithful.

Six Year 7 students sang a beautiful, angelic version of Away in a Manger.

The choir sounded fantastic as they sang Do You Hear What I Hear, The Nativity Carol and From a Distance.

Year 11 singers Jose Lumactod and Hope-Louise Jones amazed the congregation with their voices singing What Child is this?

Bible readings were read by: Matt Jones, Michael Calizon, Jess Sykes, Nicola Crawford, Miss Wellington, Stephanie Odokara, Sam Knight, Nathaniel Casuco, Mr McNiffe.

Prayers were read by: Oliver Ray, Jose Lumactod, Hope-Louise Jones and Marnie Farnacio.
