Welcome to All Saints’ Academy

All Saints’ Academy is a successful oversubscribed 11-19 Anglican Church Academy sponsored by the Diocese of Gloucester, serving the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury area and the Diocese of Gloucester.  We are consistently one of the best performing state secondary schools for GCSE outcomes.

We are a thriving oversubscribed Academy “where every member of our extended family realises their God-given potential, inspired by John 10:10. Jesus said, ‘I have come so you may have life in all its fullness.’

It is with this vision in our hearts that we work for all our young people, their families and the local community to provide a high-quality curriculum and education that will ensures “LIFE in all its fullness” for all associated with the Academy.

We are a Church Academy for the whole community, welcoming those of all faiths and none to enjoy learning, flourish and achieve in an environment that has the best facilities and opportunities to succeed. We are an outward-facing Academy with strong links locally, nationally and internationally, which includes parents, parishes, schools, community groups, business, industry, colleges and universities.

We currently offer 900 places for students aged 11-16 and 220 places in a Sixth Form curriculum that encompasses a broad range of academic & vocational courses.

At the heart of All Saints’ Academy is the belief that Christ is at the centre of all we do.  Our Christian Purpose is to provide:

  • A safe and secure environment where faith, prayer, compassion and reconciliation are visible in word and in action;
  • An excellent education with a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which will allow everyone to discover their potential and to develop and share their unique talents;
  • Opportunities for all to be nourished and challenged both academically and spiritually in their respective beliefs;
  • A shared environment respecting and valuing the diversity of all, believing that everyone is created as a unique individual in the image of God;
  • A resilient community able to reach out and support others, both locally and globally;
  • Policies, practices and Christian values to serve the common good, a heart for justice, a desire for reconciliation and the need to protect and sustain the environment.

We achieve this by creating a stimulating learning environment in which staff can deliver an imaginative and challenging curriculum for all levels of ability and needs.
