Week 1   Ethical food choices – introduction to why people make ethical choices about food to include free-range, organic foods.  Complete worksheet to include definitions and identification of related packaging symbols   
Week 2  Types of flour and their uses. How to make scones.  Scones worksheet includes identification of types of flour and step by step method for making scones.   
Week 3  Seasonal foods – what are they and what are the benefits.   Seasonal foods quiz  
Week 4 Assessment Week-  Assessed task- Design a leaflet to use at open evening to show year 6 pupils what you learn in year 7 food technology. It must include a minimum of 6 facts/pieces of information you have learnt this project.   
Week 5 Re-think your drink – sugar content of drinks and effect on health. Produce a poster to be displayed in primary school – must include a slogan from the lessons key words.
