All SainBronzets’ Academy is excited to announce achieving a CyberFirst Bronze Award from the National Cyber Security Centre. The award is in recognition of All Saints’ Academy’s excellent provision of computing and computer science across the curriculum and its wide range of extra-curricular activities.

CyberFirst is a programme of opportunities to help young people aged 11 – 17 years explore their passion for technology by introducing them to the fast-paced world of computer science and cyber security.

Mr Eglin, Head of Mathematics and Computing says, “We are delighted to receive the CyberFirst Bronze Award and we are looking to develop our work further to establish ourselves as a centre for excellence in the area of cyber security.”

To celebrate the award, All Saints’ Academy will be preparing a team of Year 8 girls to enter in the Cyberfirst Girls’ Competition taking place in early 2021.

All Saints’ Academy are investing heavily in this important and exciting area, and it will be a key part of the curriculum that is delivered to pupils in all year groups over the coming years.
