A group of Year 9 FameLab Academy finalists travelled to the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury to support Academy winner, Kaleb, who presented a three-minute science talk on stage to a live audience.
FameLab Academy challenges students to explain a scientific concept of choice in a clear, confident and creative way. Participants are judged on three key areas: content, clarity and charisma.
The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for students to see high-level science communication in action and experience the excitement of presenting scientific ideas to a wider audience.
Kaleb delivered an impressive presentation exploring the devastating and unexpected scientific outcomes of Hiroshima. The talk explained the complex science behind the events with clarity while keeping the audience engaged throughout the presentation.
All Saints’ Academy is incredibly proud of Kaleb for representing the Academy so well and demonstrating excellent scientific communication skills. Well done also to the Year 9 finalists who travelled to support this fantastic achievement.
