Our Academy was delighted to welcome students, families and members of the local community to our very first Carols in the Courtyard event – and what a magical evening it was.
Held in the heart of the Academy, the courtyard was filled with festive spirit as familiar carols were sung together, marking the start of what we hope will become a much-loved annual tradition. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate the season and enjoy a moment of reflection and togetherness.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the evening such a success. Our students and staff worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to the event and on the night itself, supported by local church clergy who helped create a warm and meaningful service. A special thank you goes to Matt and James for their thoughtful reflections and for leading the service so beautifully.
The evening also featured a very special guest appearance from Father Christmas, much to the delight of our younger visitors. We hope everyone enjoyed receiving a special edition Sid the Santa fuzzy as a festive keepsake from the night.
To keep spirits high (and hands warm), mince pies and hot chocolates were served, while our wonderful students generously gave up their time to face paint, sing and support the smooth running of the event.
Thank you once again to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Carols in the Courtyard such a memorable and festive occasion. We look forward to welcoming our community back again next year.
