Four Year 11 students – Jai, Jack, Jayden, and Romero – who took part in last year’s Power Project with Gloucester Rugby, played their first school rugby match together, away at Chipping Campden.
Although the team didn’t secure a win, the boys displayed impressive teamwork, discipline, and resilience, showcasing the skills and values developed through the Power Project.
Miss Walton, who organised the Power Project, said, “I am incredibly proud of these students. Playing their first school game together is a fantastic achievement, and they demonstrated the very qualities the Power Project aims to develop—teamwork, discipline, and resilience.”
This marks an exciting step in their sporting journey, and the Academy looks forward to seeing their continued growth on and off the field.
