Today, our Year 12 students had the incredible opportunity to visit Lady Margaret Hall, part of the prestigious University of Oxford. The trip offered a fascinating insight into life at one of the world’s top universities and encouraged students to broaden their horizons and aim high.
From the moment they arrived, students were warmly welcomed by staff and student ambassadors at LMH. The day began with a guided tour of the college, giving students a chance to explore the beautiful grounds and historic buildings. They then took part in engaging academic taster sessions, designed to stretch their thinking and give a flavour of undergraduate study.
The highlight for many was a lively and thought-provoking debate, where students had the chance to share their views, build confidence in public speaking, and develop their critical thinking skills.
We are incredibly grateful to our partners at Lady Margaret Hall for providing such an enriching and memorable experience. Visits like these are invaluable in helping our students realise their potential and make informed decisions about their futures.
