The All Saints’ Academy Governing Body manages the Academy on behalf of the Academy Trust, and is responsible for many of the day-to-day management decisions affecting the Academy.
The Governing Body is made up of representatives from the Diocese of Gloucester, the Local Authority, the Chair of Governors, two Partner Governors, the Principal, and representatives of the parents and staff at the Academy.
The responsibilities of the Governing Body include, but are not limited to the following:
- ensuring the quality of educational provision at the Academy
- challenging and monitoring the performance of the Academy
- managing the Academy Trust’s finances and property
- employing staff
- exercising reasonable skill and care in carrying out their duties
The Full Governing Body meet six or more times per year, with the three Governing Committees (Standards and Steering, Staff and Resources and Welfare and Ethos) also meeting once a half term.
The Chair of Governors is Mrs S Padfield.
