Sixth Form

Kerryanne Bill

Year 13

During my time at All Saints’ Academy, I have been presented with many opportunities such as fantastic trips like the Africa trip, work experience and responsibilities which have really enriched my personal statement and UCAS application. The teachers genuinely care about helping you to do what you want in the future and provide a lot of support to get there. Whether you want to go to university, do an apprenticeship or anything else that you may want to do, there is always loads of information that the sixth form team will provide you with. I am currently studying Psychology, Photography and Health and Social Care. I am hoping to go to university to study Mental Health Nursing, I believe I am able to achieve this thanks to the support from the Sixth Form team.

'In the Sixth Form you are treated more like an adult than in the lower school, you are given more freedom. Sociology is really interesting and the teachers are really passionate about their subject. The pastoral care/support from students and teachers is unlike other schools and it has helped me to settle in when coming from a different school.'

'Throughout my time at All Saint’s Academy I have had great experiences that have allowed me to develop as a person. These have involved travelling to another continent, writing for the school’s newspaper and taking part in activities with local primary schools. However, what stands out most for me is the excellent support I have received from staff, that has allowed me to reach my full potential in all aspects of school life'.

I joined ASA Sixth Form from another school. I have found it easy to make new friends as the students here have made me feel welcome. The range of subjects on offer is excellent and will help with my future plans. My subject teachers are helpful and know their subject.
