It's another record breaking year here at All Saints' Academy with 100% of students achieved an A* to E pass.

79% of sixth form students achieved A*-E in 3 or more subjects, which is an improvement of 11% since 2015. Value added scores have much improved too when compared to last year.

Principal Dermot McNiffe said: ‘We are delighted that our Sixth Form students have achieved yet another set of record breaking A Level results, their success is down to their hard work, and the dedication of our teaching and support staff at All Saints’ Academy.  We are so proud that our Sixth Form continues to grow and achieves increasing success year on year.

Tom produced a 120-hour project on the dark matter and the expanding universe, achieving the highest grade ever during the three year of it running at All Saints’ Academy.

“I did better than I expected so am pleased with my results. I just hope it is enough to get in to Bristol University to study Maths and Philosophy.”

Charis Pardoe with her parents 307118-year-old Charis Pardoe already had her university place confirmed having received an unconditional offer after an interview at Birmingham City University to study Media and Communications (radio).

Charis got a B in both Sociology and Film studies and a C in English Literature.

“I am so happy I got the results I wanted. I was so nervous despite already being accepted I still wanted the grades. I am looking forward to spending the next three years in Birmingham!”

Duncan Pardoe, father of Charis was very happy with the results.

“I am very pleased with her results. It’s a massive achievement to be the first one in the family to go to university.”

Savannah Williams Year 12, Miss Bristol

First Miss Bristol, now top grades – what a year for Savannah Williams!

The 17-year-old achieved distinction star grades (equivalent to an A* at AS level) in four subjects – Performing Arts (Dance), Law, Business and Health and Social Care.

Savannah became Miss Bristol earlier this summer, after entering because her sister is being treated in the city’s children’s hospital.

“I chose to run for Miss Bristol because I spend a lot of time there with my sister Caitlyn being treated for spinal scoliosis. I want to represent the city and complete work for charity’s including Bristol Children’s hospital and give back to them for all their hard work. It’s been a tough year but I’m really pleased with my results. I was crowned Miss Bristol late and had to put in a lot of hard work to juggle both work and charity events.

I’ll be staying on next year to finish my A-levels and will continue my work as Miss Bristol. I am looking forward to Year 13 and also taking part in upcoming events such as: Bristol Food Festival and a winter fashion show for chemotherapy and cancer research in September.”

Savannah & Billy 3440Year 12 student, Billy Fee, aged 17, achieved A* in Catering, a merit in Business (equivalent to a B) and a C in Applied Science.

Billy will be continuing on to Year 13 and hopes to go on to study Sports Nutrition at either Gloucestershire or Worcester University.
