Travel Plans

There are three entrances into the Academy; the main entrance is in Blaisdon Way giving access to the car park including specifically identified disabled parking bays, a secure cycle enclosure, a bus bay and the main pedestrian access. There is pedestrian and cycle access from Howell Road as well as an additional pedestrian entry point to the right of the main car entrance in Pilgrove Way.

Car park accessible from Blaisdon Way.

Cyclists can enter the Academy from any entrance. Once on site students are expected to dismount and push their bikes to the secure cycle shed. Although this shed will be locked through the day students are very strongly advised to bring and use a cycle lock. Unfortunately we cannot take more than reasonable care for cycles during the day. The cycle shed will be locked at the same time students are expected to be on site so after that parking of cycles in a locked area will NOT be possible.

Students can enter through any one of the three access points; Main Academy entrance, Pilgrove Way; follow the footpath to the right of the main car entrance or Howell Road – the pedestrian route from Howell Road will be locked through the day from about 9:00 until the end of school.
