Applications for new students must be submitted via the Local Authority.

Year 7 Applications for September 2018

All students transferring to secondary schools in the normal cycle at the end of Year 6 will receive a letter about the process from the Local Authority (normally in the autumn term). For further information please consult the Gloucestershire County Council website for guidance on transferring to secondary school click here

The Academy’s Published Admissions Number (PAN) for Phase One (Year 7) intake each year is 180 students.

After the admission of students with statements of Special Educational Need where All Saints’ Academy is named on the statement, places will be offered to Looked After Children. A Looked After Child is a child who is (a) in the care of the local authority, or (b) being provided with accommodation by a local authority in the exercise of their social services functions. Priority will then be given to Previously Looked After Children. A Previously Looked After Child is a child who was looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted, or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order immediately following their being looked after.

The above having been taken into account, the remaining available places are divided into three categories in accordance with the Academy’s funding agreement: 35% of remaining available places are open to Catholic students, 35% of remaining available places are open to Church of England students, and 30% of remaining available places are open to students who fall into the Community category, and are not identified by faith.

The Academy’s full policy on Admissions can be downloaded via the link below, as can the Supplementary Information Form, required to be completed and returned to the Academy (with evidence, where appropriate) for all Year 7 applicants.
